何謂職場「情緒勞動」?過份壓抑情緒易導致生產力下降
職場上為求合作愉快、順暢,面對客戶、上司、同事及其他工作夥伴時,都會盡量和顏悅色,即使意見不合,甚至受到不合理指摘,為免多生枝節,寧可壓抑真實情緒,這種行為、態度就是學者 Arlie Hochschild 所指的「情緒勞動」(Emotional Labor)。企業如長期對之坐視不理,最終演變成情緒耗竭(Emotional Exhaustion)的話,員工的工作品質就會應聲下降,甚或離職,拖累生產力,讓公司承擔龐大的隱形成本。
